Thank you Pablo and Margarita for your support :) ! Indeed I don't have any problem taking this role and also have nothing against Byron doing it either; he has my support if he wishes to do so and the rest of the council agrees with it.

I have the feeling that there is a misunderstanding on the "Chair's tasks under the Guideline" that need to be designated to another person when the current chair is one of the candidates for election to the ICANN Board. Maybe Bart could clarify this?

On another note, it is clear that I have not been involved in certain discussions regarding this election process. Somehow "the ccNSO Council decided to extend the acceptance period with one week" and I didn't receive this request for approval (not that I wouldn't have agreed, but still). Also, the silence for this administrative request is very strange and awkward. I don't understand why these things are happening and would like to have this issue added for discussion on the agenda for our next council call.

On 8 July 2020, Katrina formally accepted her nomination as candidate for the Board Seat 12 Nomination.
