I fully second that. Also the Nigel bit..

Additional suggestions:

·         Where are we on ICANN’s role and remit on SSR (the comment period is over)

·         ICANN’s request for (community) input on Consumer, Choice and Trust Metrics: is this the right approach whereby ICANN doesn’t publish its own vision and intentions first? Can we expect more of that (I truly hope not)

·         The main issues for the Board re the new gTLD process for the period after Toronto

·         Maybe a brief heads up on ccTLD contributions…?

·

Cheers, Roelof

Hi Gabi,

I’d be interested to hear (again) the Board’s vision and strategy for WCIT.

Probably it is somewhat more detailed by now compared to the vague response we got in Prague.

And I want to hear the Board’s views – not Nigel’s… J

Regards,

Peter

Dear Councillors,

In preparation for the meeting with the ICANN Board in Toronto, we have been requested to define items for discussion. The topics need to be submitted by the 3rd October.

Please, could you send any items you think would be worth bringing up with the ICANN Board to this email list by 2nd October.

Thanks!

Gabi
