Peter: discussion on the selection process

Bart: this committee has a different role. Due to the charter and the bylaws, the ccNSO Council and RySG need to coordinate the appointment. After council made its appointment. The committee also needs to appoint the full slate of membership. Administrative roles, instead of full council. The selection of the members is a full council decision. No role for the committee.

Regional diversity

Chair and vice chairs form 3 different regions

Chair selected first

If there are candidates from the same region for vice chair, sub-selection from the region first

If there are 2 or more candidates: secret ballot. Otherwise by acclimation.

Formal nominations and secondments at the council meeting on Thursday.

Alejandra I am willing to continue as chair. Biyi and Jordan happy to continue as Vice Chairs
