Dear Colleagues,

Some time ago I asked if you were interested in receiving this Digest (sent twice a week). Thanks to all who replied on and off list. Everyone who replied wanted to receive it but there was no consensus on how often. Therefore, I followed Jordan’s suggestion to forward all of them to get a better understanding of what is the most appropriate frequency.

As some of you have tried to unsubscribe from this Digest by clicking on the link I now have removed (there was no point in trying to unsubscribe  as you are not subscribed to the list – I am forwarding emails to you), there is clearly a need to ask the question again: how often would you like to receive the Digest?

Please let me know your preference!

Kind regards,

]{atrina

NEW: CSC Findings on PTI Performance for February 2020

From: Lars-Johan Liman, CSC Chair

It is my pleasure as chair of the Customer Standing Committee (CSC) to provide you with our monthly findings on the performance of Public Technical Identifiers (PTI) over February 2020. I am very pleased to inform you that the CSC has concluded that PTI’s overall performance over February 2020 was “Excellent” - PTI met 100 % of the service level agreements. The related PTI report to the CSC, listing the individual service level metrics along with their actual and historical performance, can be found here.

I am also pleased to inform you that the CSC has requested the ccNSO and GNSO Councils to approve the amendment of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) pertaining to ccTLD Creation/Transfer – Validation and Reviews. This SLA amendment was approved by the CSC and PTI. ccNSO and GNSO Council approval is required as part of the SLA change process.

I am honored to inform you that, at our last meeting, the CSC selected me as its new chair and Brett Carr, one of the ccNSO-appointed members, as vice chair. We will both serve for one (1) year, until March 2021.

BACKGROUND

Generally, the CSC regular meetings are scheduled on or around the 15th every month, and the CSC Findings Report on PTI performance is sent out shortly after that. These and other CSC meetings are open to attend.

If you would like to be informed of upcoming meetings or receive CSC reports directly, you may want to subscribe to our announce list. We welcome any comments on our reporting to you.

The CSC became effective October 1, 2016. Background information on the committee along with transcripts of our meetings and other useful information can be found here.

REMINDER: Participate in Open Strategic Outlook Trends Sessions

From: Theresa Swinehart, Senior Vice President, Multistakeholder Strategy and Strategic Initiatives

ICANN invites the community to participate in an open strategic outlook trends session to help ICANN continue to be aware of trends that affect its mission and mandate. These sessions will build on past trend identification work to update our shared understanding of opportunities and challenges relevant to ICANN's current and future strategy. ICANN will hold two remote sessions for those unable to attend the stakeholder group-specific sessions planned. Participation is limited to 40 participants per session, on a first-come, first-served basis due to the breakout format. Sessions will be held in English.
