Dear Alejandra,
I hope that this email finds you well. I am writing to follow up on the
correspondence from Avri Doria on 13 May.
As Avri mentioned, we understand the ccNSO has done substantial additional implementation work since the
Feasibility and Implementation Plan was published. To make sure the ICANN Board is considering up-to-date information, the OEC has asked for ICANN org to compare the latest status of recommendations provided in the
letter from Katrina Sataki (the Chair of the ccNSO at that time) on 26 February with the one in the
Feasibility and Implementation Plan.
ICANN org compiled the input from both documents into a single new document, which includes a table of recommendations and ccNSO actions. Please see the attached document. We hope this format will make it
easier for the ccNSO to confirm whether the compiled information reflects the ccNSO assessment of the progress made and the remaining implementation work.
If the ccNSO agrees with the compilation of this new document, it will serve as the basis on which the OEC will consider the current status of the implementation work, considering that the Feasibility and
Implementation Plan has been overtaken by events since its publication in July 2020, including substantial implementation work.
Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions to clarify or improve the attached document.
Thank you very much,
Larisa Gurnick
