In order to kick off the call for nominations in the AP region as soon as possible (so that we know who the new Councillor is in time for the San Francisco meeting), I would like to ask you to agree on the following timeline:
16 February: Call for nominations AP region
2 March: Closure of nomination period
4 March: Last day for nominee(s) to accept nomination + send out their mission statement
7 March: Launch of elections (if needed)
14 March: Closure of election period
16 March: Approval of candidate by Council
If no one objects by 12.00 noon UTC on the 15 February, I take it that this timeline has been approved.
