Dear all,

As indicated at the AOB during the Council call last week (10 December), the ccNSO was requested to indicate whether it could support the recommendations contained in the Final Report of the Geographic Regions WG. According to the Charter of the WG, as adopted by the ICANN Board and as suggested by the ccNSO at the time, the chair of the WG needs to receive a notification from each of the participating organizations before the Final Report can be submitted to the Board.

Based on a comparative analysis of the WG recommendations and the ccNSO Statement of the ccNSO on the Draft Final report (16 September 2011), the Council is advised to endorse all recommendations of the WG. If you have any comments or concerns, please inform the Council as soon as possible, preferably by 20 December 2013.
