here. Sessions will be held in Conference Hall 3 in UTC+8, on Tuesday, 20 September and Wednesday, 21 September.

The ccPDP3-Review Mechanism working group has developed a proposed mechanism for the review of the specific decisions on the delegation, transfer, revocation and retirement of the delegated top-level domains associated with the country codes assigned to countries and territories in the ISO 3166-1 standard.

The protection of geographical indications has recently reemerged in various regions as an area of increased regulatory attention and legislative
initiatives. The latest examples are the European Commission proposals which aim to reform the European Union framework on
geographical indications with special attention for enforcement issues linked to the registration of domain names both as TLDs and second-level domains. This session will explore the potential impact of regulations and legislation on ccTLDs, and will include
contributions from Brian Beckham (WIPO), Polina Malaja (CENTR), as well as
ccTLD perspectives from Nick Wenban-Smith (.uk),
Alyssa Quinn (.ca), Molehe Wesi (.za) and
Anil Kumar Jain (.in). Session chair is Annaliese
Williams (.au).

Universal Acceptance ensures that all domain names, including new TLDs and Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs), and email addresses are treated equally and can be used by all Internet-enabled applications, devices, and systems. Universal Acceptance provides a gateway to the next billion Internet users. During this ccNSO and Universal Acceptance session, there will be a discussion with ccTLDs as well as other stakeholders on the role of the ccNSO and how to best serve the ccTLD community. The focus of this session will be on seeking input from the ccTLD community on the proposed ccNSO statement of interest (SOI) and conflict of interest (COI) processes. A subcommittee of the Guidelines Review Committee developed the proposals, based on previous consultations at ICANN74.
