Subject: [ccnso-programmewg] ICANN68 as virtual meeting: first impressions
Dear members of the MPC, observers.
You might be aware that the ccNSO Council met as part of ICANN68 a few hours ago. One of the topics on their agenda
was “ICANN68 as virtual meeting: first impressions.” A recording of the session will be posted in the next day or 2 on the ICANN public schedule.
Please find included below
some high-level notes from this discussion.
2 sessions as part of the members meeting were already concluded.
The ccNSO Members Meeting as part of the ICANN68 Virtual Policy Forum focuses on 3 sessions:
Positive feedback from Stephen Deerhake and David McAuley and Nick Wenban-Smith.
Session duration: Max 1 hour is ideal, breaks were good in between. Lots of efforts were put into the prep work for these sessions.
Alejandra Reynoso: good idea to have sessions prior to ICANN68, to not overload ICANN68.
Biyi Oladipo agreed.
We adjusted well to the zoom room settings. ccNSO Cocktail was great: Video
participation was good.
Pablo: useful and interesting that we picked content relevant to others, outside of the ccNSO. Polling during the session on Tuesday was helpful.
Katrina: being a panelist and seeing the participants in the webinar zoom room
(versus regular attendees, not listed as panelist)
was helpful.
