Unfortunately, we did not get our act together to send out the call for CSC member nomination at the time originally agreed, i.e. on 29 May. Preparations are still in progress, and I asked the Secretariat to propose a new timeline. The new timeline (see below) needs to be approved again by the Council.

Selection Process (by the Council, email decision): 9 July 2018 - 13 July 2018
Consultations with RySG: 16 July 2018 - 20 July 2018 (Depends on the progress with other selection committees, initial consultations during ICANN62)
Council Decision to select the member (by the Council, email decision): 23 July 2018 - 27 July 2018 Email Decision
Approval of the full slate (done by CSC Committee): 10 September 2019 - 14 September 2018
Discussion and Approval of the Selection Report by Council: 20 September 2018

On the bright side, if we open the nomination period on 18 June, we will have the opportunity to advertise the position during our face-to-face meeting in Panama.

Decision
The ccNSO Council adopts the timeline as proposed for the selection of a new ccNSO appointed member on the CSC, and request the secretariat to launch the call for volunteers at the time foreseen in the updated schedule and in accordance with the mechanism in the Guideline: ccNSO Actions respecting the Customer Standing Committee.
