Dear all,
The ccNSO seeks additional volunteers for the ccNSO Guidelines Review Committee. The purpose of the ccNSO Guidelines Review Committee (GRC) is to review the current ccNSO guidelines and to ascertain whether they reflect current practices
and working methods, identify potential gaps, and based on this analysis propose changes to the current guidelines to the Council.
If you are interested in joining the GRC, kindly send an e-mail to joke.braeken@icann.org, including a short paragraph on your background and your affiliation
with a ccTLD Manager. Closing date of this call for volunteers is Friday, 16 November 2018, 23:59 UTC.
Every member needs to be able to invest a few hours per month towards the work of the group. The group meets once every 2 weeks through telephone conferences (1 hour), and potentially in face-to-face meetings during the ICANN meetings.
However, most work is done online.
Membership of the ccNSO GRC is open to all ccTLD managers, whether members or non-members of the ccNSO.
If you are interested in joining the GRC, kindly send an e-mail to joke.braeken@icann.org, including a short paragraph on your background and your affiliation
with a ccTLD Manager. Closing date of this call for volunteers is Friday, 16 November 2018, 23:59 UTC.
Once we have received your intent to join the GRC, the ccNSO Secretariat will send you a Public Data Consent Form. (consult the template here: https://ccnso.icann.org/about/personal-data-publication-consent-16feb18-en.pdf)
Via this form, you consent to ICANN processing data in order to add you as a member of the ccNSO Review Working Party and its mailing list(s). The form explains the information ICANN will process to administer your participation in the GRC and how the information
will be used this purpose. It also describes the rights you have regarding your information.
The ccNSO Council will appoint the additional members to the GRC as soon as possible.
The Committee will undertake the following activities:
The review and analysis of the following guidelines are excluded from the work of the GRC:
