Please find included two documents that will be introduced for your review and comments at eh upcoming Council meeting.

• Procedures for the nomination of WG/Committee (Vice-)Chair(s). The procedures will be annexed to the existing Guidelines of establishing WG and collaboration ( read committee) groups. The procedures proposed look at the nomination by the WG members and if more candidates the selection of candidates by the members. On a side note, creating such a procedure was a recommendation of the Independent Reviewers and the IDNccPDP 4 Chair and vice-chair nomination show cased the need for such a procedure.

• Guideline, which consolidates selection and appointment of various liaisons and members to groups. This Guideline, after being adopted wil replace a whole set of documents, and provides the general selection mechanism, if a new group with limited membership would emerge.  

After introduction on the call, Councillors will be asked to review the drafts ( from 21-29 January). After up[dating the proposals, the membership will be asked to provide comments. Goal is to adopt the two documents at the February Council meeting.
