Hi all,

1. Internationalised Registration Data (IRD)

The GNSO has requested the ICANN Staff to prepare the IRD Issues Report on translation and transliteration of contact information to consider the desirability of translating contact information to a single common language or transliterating contact information to a single common script, the entity to address these issues and whether to start a PDP to address these questions. 


2. Thick WHOIS PDP Working Group

The GNSO Council has approved the charter of the 'thick' WHOIS PDP WG to work on the issues defined in the Final Issue Report on 'thick' WHOIS. Volker Greimann is the interim WG Chair.
