Draft Resolution

The ccNSO Council appoints Sophie Mitchell as the ccNSO delegate to 2023 NomCom. Following conclusion of the formal appointment, the ccNSO Council Chair assisted by the Secretariat will inform relevant ICANN staff of the selection of the candidate, and will inform and thank all candidates.

Background

• The ccNSO Secretariat shared a call for volunteers on the ccNSO members mailing list.

• The call for volunteers closed 2 September 2022, 23:59 UTC. The ccNSO Secretariat then launched the Council selection process. As requested by NomCom support staff, the ccNSO should appoint one (1) representative. 
• At closure of the application window, two candidates stepped forward for the role 
• After receipt of the applications, the application material documents (if submitted by the candidates) were transmitted to the ccNSO Councillors. The Councillors selected and listed the candidates in order of preference and mailed them to the ccNSO Secretariat before the deadline on 9 September 2022 (23:59 UTC).
