As Sean has indicated on last call, the GRC has completed its review of the ccNSO Council Selection Guideline. Goal is to have the review completed by your Prague meeting, to ensure that the next Council Selection process will happen under the updated Guideline.

After you have completed your review, the GRC will adjust the Guideline, if necessary, and circulate to the members for comments.

This update takes into account the various recommendations of the Council election process manager and direction from Councill. The major changes are:

• Include a glossary and relevant Bylaw sections. Includes definition of self-nominating and self-seconding
• Clarification of nomination procedures and introduction template for nomination seconding and acceptance of nomination..
• Procedures around change of affiliation:
  • During selection process
  • As Councillor-Elect
  • As Councillor

Please review and if you any comments please send them by Monday 26 May noon UTC.
