I am sorry about the problems with the phone lines. As I understood it there was a problem with the local carrier in Malawi? If I am wrong about this, please let me know so that I can open a ticket with the teleconference centre in order for them to find out what’s wrong.
As I learned from Victor, it is possible for anyone to call in via Skype toll free (no need for Skype credit) if you have a good enough internet connection. Simply paste the US number 1 800 550 6865 into the Skype keypad and press enter to dial, this will take you to the call.
In the mean time, we will try to sort out any issues with the phone lines.

Unfortunately, the quality of the conference calls to me in Malawi has also considerably
worsened over the last few weeks. Frequency of call drops has increased and it has been
getting really difficult to even listen during the meetings, let alone participate.
Switching to skype as discussed with you during this ccNSO Council Call may need to be
seriously looked into if the call quality and rate of call drops on the current call
bridges in use do not improve.
