Just to confirm that on Friday in Seoul the ICANN Board passed the resolution on IDN ccTLDs in the fast track and the ‘application’ process will open at 00:00 UTC on Monday 16 November.

A number of people in the room were in tears when the resolution passed. Me included.

Thank you to everyone who was involved in making this happen. It is a momentous achievement and our community should be proud of itself.

Good luck to all those of you who will shortly be starting the process to have your IDN ccTLD delegated.
