Background

The ccNSO Meetings Programme Committee (MPC) held 2 editions of the pre-ICANN71 ccTLD News Sessions:

• ccTLDs & Security: Regulatory Demands | Wednesday, 26 May | 13 UTC
• DNS Abuse: the ccTLD Experience | Thursday, 27 May | 5 UTC

Each of the sessions were well attended, and had a 90 minute duration. The ccTLD News Sessions have been a part of the ccNSO Members Meetings for several years and have provided a global platform for both experienced and new people to meet, share experiences and discuss ccTLD-related aspects. Previous editions of the ccTLD News Sessions had an excellent collection of case studies, statistics, new developments, trends and more.  For reference, the most recent sessions were held prior to ICANN70 in March 2021, and prior to ICANN71 in May.
