Dear all, dear Alejandra,

I feel like this is a good approach for the next call.

I am happy to volunteer on the DNS abuse work.

Hope everyone has a nice relaxing and quiet week!

Dear All

I hope you had the best ICANN72 experience possible :)

A lot of work and effort were invested in the preparation and execution of the ICANN72 sessions which naturally left us all with the need to rest from ICANN related matters and recharge. Therefore, next week the ccNSO will keep its activities at a minimum and resume normal speed on Monday 8 November.

Our next call is scheduled for Thursday 18 November at 12:00 UTC. In just 3 weeks. Considering two effective weeks of work before our call, my proposal is to change the format of our session from a formal council meeting to a council workshop, to discuss the following topics:
  1. Next steps on the role of the ccNSO & DNS Abuse.
    1. Attached is the presentation shown yesterday at our council call, with more details on the statements polled.
    2. Keep in mind that we need volunteers for the drafting of the proposed plan of action to be presented to the ccTLD community for consultation.
    3. So far there is Nick and myself. A couple more councillors would be appreciated.
    4. Please use the mailing list to volunteer.
  2. Next steps on Hybrid Meetings.
    1. We have the report from our mini-workshop: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rgDxd9uvL3P3kh2VepPe6HtwyuCsknhNT8A2KHf123A/edit?usp=sharing
    2.  The input from the recent plenary on the topic: https://72.schedule.icann.org/meetings/chf3RhWa2oRBLvxQt

    3. What do we want from MPC and OISC looking at hybrid meetings? Note that we are pending on requesting MPC to review the Meetings Guideline and suggest changes, taking into consideration virtual and hybrid meetings.

Do you agree with the proposal? Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Have a great weekend! :)

Best regards,
Alejandra
