ccNSO Council Nominations/Secondments – regular council elections
In March 2017, at ICANN58 in Copenhagen (11 and 16 March 2017), the 3-year term of 5 ccNSO Councillors (one from each region) ends. An overview of all Nominations and Secondments received to date, can be found here:

ccNSO Council Nominations/Secondments – special council elections
There needs to be an election in the African region to fill a vacancy. Mr. Vika Mpisane has stepped down from the ccNSO Council in July 2016. Therefore, the ccNSO members in the African Region will need
to elect two candidates: one for the regular council election, and one for the special council election. The person elected following the special council election will take the seat on the council immediately and serve until March 2018.

ICANN Board seat 11
Chris Disspain’s second term on the ICANN Board Seat 11 will expire at the ICANN Annual General Meeting 2017. According to the Bylaws an ICANN Board member is eligible to serve three (3) terms. The ccNSO
started the call for nominations to fill ICANN Board seat number 11.
