ICANN announced that ICANN will host an interactive webinar on 25 September 2017 to discuss Compliance and Consumer Safeguard matters within ICANN’s remit, including:

• Review and discuss existing safeguards within ICANN’s contracts and By-laws. 
• Identify types DNS abuse that may fall within ICANN’s remit. 
• Discuss voluntary efforts to address abuse within the DNS. 
• Consider possible topic(s) for discussion during a session at ICANN 60. 

This webinar will allow for an open discussion on these topics as well as any other related issues raised by members of the community. Hosted by ICANN’s Contractual Compliance and Consumer Safeguards team, the webinar will also include representatives from ICANN’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer and the Global Domains Division.
