Included is the initial draft for a ccNSO Council Statement on ICANN's draft proposal for process to transition key Internet Domain Name Functions. Two amendments are already included:
The suggestion from Peter and Don, that affected parties should include two representatives from
the ccTLD community (was: ccNSO)
The
ccNSO members present, as one of the groups of direct consumers (was: The ccNSO, a direct consumer of IANA services)
As you know the public comment period closes on 8 May 2014. In order to invite the community to provide comments as well, the Council Statement needs to be submitted as soon as possible. If you
have any comments, suggestions etc. please send it to the Council list by 24 April 2014. Becky and I will then consolidate the comments into next version and send it to the Council fro final adoption by 29 April 2014.
