As we reported to you earlier, after closure of the Bylaw required Public Comment and requesting GAC advice - the Caucus support staff started an in-depth analysis of Sections 2-6 of the Board report as part of the assessment of the feasibility of implementation of the ccPDP Review Mechanism. The objective of the analysis is to ensure that the understanding and interpretation of the proposed policy is unambiguous and aligns with the intentions of the ccNSO. This analysis is nearly completed and we expect to send you the request for additional information in the week of 22-26 April 2024. The additional information is sought using two types of questions: 

• Requests for confirmation:  The purpose of these requests is to seek confirmation from the ccNSO that ICANN’s understanding and/or interpretation of a specific text is correct and aligns with what the ccNSO intended. 

• Requests for clarification:  The purpose of these requests is to seek further information or clarification from the ccNSO on a specific topic that is not clear from the language of the CCRM Policy. 

The additional  information is needed to assess whether implementation of the proposed review mechanism is feasible and/or what modifications may be needed in order for it to be feasible.
