Today, Thursday 30 May 2019 from noon UTC onwards, it will be possible to apply for ccNSO travel funding for the next ICANN public meeting.  ccNSO travel funding is available for a limited set of travellers for ICANN66, taking place between 2 and 7 November 2018 in Montréal, Canada. 

 

When can I apply?

 

The application window opens today, Thursday, 30 May 2019 noon UTC, and closes Thursday, 13 June 2019 (23:59 UTC) (http://ccnso.icann.org/about/travel-funding).  No early/late submissions will be accepted.

 

Who can apply?

 

Funding to attend and participate in ICANN66 is made available to a small set of travellers, who meet the following requirement: They actively participate in the work of the ccNSO, and make a special contribution to its projects and meetings. Important: Applications which do not clearly state an active contribution, are not eligible and will not be taken into consideration.

One (1) ccNSO Travel Support slot may be awarded: either

Applicants are asked to specify their preference for support on a full or partial basis. If the latter, they are requested to state a preference for option (a) or option (b). If several applicants request partial funding (options (a) and (b)), more applicants can be funded.

What are the next steps?

 

Once the application window closed, the ccNSO Travel Fund Committee members will evaluate all applications.

The outcome of the ccNSO Travel Fund Committee deliberations will be published on the ccNSO website, latest mid-July 2019. All applicants will receive a personal notification as well.
