There are times where no reply is required (but is not restricted either 😉) and there are times where explicit vote is necessary (like the recent selection of the ccNSO member to the CSC).

As an aside comment, these requests read as though no reply is needed and if there is silence then they are approved. But presumably it’s helpful if there are a few replies so that you know it’s been seen by the council members at least?
