_______________________________________________Dear ccNSO Members,
The 3-year term for five members of the ccNSO Council will end in March 2021: Africa: Abdalla Omari, Asia Pacific: Young Eum Lee, Europe: Katrina Sataki, Latin America/Caribbean: Margarita Valdes, North America: Byron Holland. On 9 September 2020, the ccNSO will open a call for nominations to fill those seats. Prior to this call for nominations, there will be a ccNSO Council Election Webinar.
Are you considering running as a candidate for the ccNSO Council?
Would you like to learn more about the ccNSO Council and the need to nominate candidates?
You are invited to join ccNSO Council Chair Katrina Sataki, as well as other Councillors, for a webinar.
There will be two options to participate:
- Wednesday, 2 September 2020 | 19 UTC
- Thursday, 3 September 2020 | 8 UTC
During this webinar, the ccNSO Councillors and ccNSO Secretariat will provide you with an overview of the election process and address the need to replace Councillors at reasonable and regular intervals. Moreover, you will receive further information about the required skill sets for Councillors, the time commitment and working methods of the ccNSO Council.
The webinars will be recorded, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. The details for connecting will be provided shortly, as well as an announcement about the call for nominations.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Joke Braeken
