The call for expression of interest to serve on the Customer Standing Committee (CSC) closed on 17
July 2023.
A total of three (3) candidates have put their names forward for one (1) seat:

Please compile a list of candidates with the most preferred candidate on top and least preferred last, based on the selection criteria (see below). If you feel a candidate does not
meet the criteria, you could opt for NOT including that candidate.
Based on your ranking, the Secretariat will prepare the overall ranking of
all candidates by assigning the highest number (3) to the most preferred candidate, and (1) to the least preferred (and zero (0) to a candidate that is not included in the list).

Background
The ccNSO Council issued a call for expressions of interest targeted at candidates from either the African, Asia-Pacific, Latin American or North African region to become a member of the Customer Standing Committee (CSC). The call
for volunteers closed Monday, 17 July 2023.

Candidate qualification requirements
ccNSO candidates are expected to have the support of a ccTLD manager (whether members or non-member of the ccNSO).
CSC members will be selected based on how well they meet the following set of skills and experience:

The Customer Standing Committee (CSC) is comprised of representatives with direct experience and knowledge of IANA naming functions. Please refer to the CSC

About the Customer Standing Committee (CSC)
The CSC ensures the satisfactory performance of the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) naming function. The CSC is responsible for monitoring Public Technical Identifier's (PTI) performance of the IANA naming function against
the service level expectations in the IANA Naming Function Contract. The CSC analyzes performance reports provided by PTI and publishes its findings. The CSC is authorized to undertake remedial action to address poor performance of the IANA naming function,
and if performance issues are not remedied, may escalate the issues to the ccNSO and GNSO.
