Dear ccNSO members,

The nomination period to the ccNSO Council ended last Friday, 3 October. 

Following people were nominated + seconded:

African Region: Vika Mpisane, .za

Asia-Pacific Region: Young-Eum Lee, .kr

European Region: Katrina Sataki, .lv

Latin American & Caribbean Region: Margarita Valdes, .cl

North American Region: Byron Holland, .ca

All nominees have accepted their nomination.

This result also means that no elections will be needed in any of the regions. Still – a Q&A session with all nominees will be held at the ccNSO meeting in Los Angeles next week (Tuesday, 14 October 12.30 – 13.00 – see http://ccnso.icann.org/meetings/los-angeles51/agenda.htm). If you have any questions which you wish to be asked on your behalf – please, let us have them by Friday, 10 October.

The nominees will only be confirmed for their new 3-year term once the Council approves the Nomination report – which is expected to happen during the Council meeting next Wednesday.
