ICANN is requesting input to its "Draft Vision, Mission & Focus Areas for a Five-Year Strategic Plan". The suggested action by the Triage Committee is fairly straightforward: As we already have the SOP WG in place, this group should be asked to provide input + notify the community (done).

Summary of request: ICANN has published its Draft Draft Vision, Mission & Focus Areas for a Five-Year Strategic Plan  http://www.icann.org/en/news/public-comment/strategic-29oct13-en.htm for public comments. It has been written based on brainstorming that occurred April – September 2013 and reflects input from ICANN's Board of Directors, community and staff. The comments received to this draft are meant to support the creation of ICANN's Vision and Five-Year Strategic Plan, scheduled to be posted and up for public comment in February-March 2014.
