Dear all,

Yesterday (20 December) the SOPC nominated Andreas Musielak (.de) as chair and Irina Danelia (.ru) as vice-chair and both have accepted their nomination.

In accordance with the Guideline: WG/Committee (Vice-) Chair Nomination Process (https://ccnso.icann.org/sites/default/files/field-attached/guidelines-annex-a-22mar21-en.pdf) the Council needs to appoint the chair and vice-chair by 31 December 2021, to allow them to take their seat on 1 January 2022, when Giovanni steps down.  You are therefore requested to appoint Andreas and Irina as chair and vice-chair respectively. Please use the Council list If you any question, concern and/or object to the appointment by 23 December 2021, 23.59 UTC.
