Agreed, Jian.
I think the most important realization coming out of this is that ICANN's outreach to regions should substantially be informed by ccTLD & other internet organizations from that region. Also, ICANN's outreach will have to be adaptable to each region. What CENTR would like to have ICANN do in the EU is not necessarily or exactly the same as what LACTLD would want ICANN to do in LAC.
Perhaps one of the ccNSO meetings in each year should have an item from ICANN providing updates on progress made in implementing its regional outreach program. I'm saying this knowing the ccNSO agenda is typically never short of agenda items:-)

Thanks for sharing this with us.
I agree with the comment you made during ccNSO- board meeting, such a pity we didn’t have time to talk more since the tight schedule. I’m glad you are making progress in African region, also glad for Latin America. I also made public comment in “global engagement session” during Toronto, to remind ICANN our AP region is a very diverse region, we do have a lot of developing counties which needs their attention too.

Please find attached the email I received from Erick Ahon (former LACTLD GM) about the LAC strategy. It seems it's an initiative driven by Rodrigo de la Parra – ICANN's VP: LAC. I'm not sure how far the strategy has progressed, but I suppose ccNSO councillors from LAC (Margerita, Eduardo) or Carolina (LACTLD GM) can provide you & the Council with an update.
