This is to inform you about the outcome of the Council Selection Process for the Root Server System Governance Working Group (RSS GWG), which closed Monday, 23 December 2019 (23:59 UTC).

Hiro Hotta abstained.

Next steps

 

The 2 candidates receiving most supportive votes, are selected. The ccNSO Secretariat will inform relevant ICANN staff of the selection of the candidates, ahead of the 8 January 2020 deadline.

  

Background

 

 

At closure of the application window, 6 applications were received. After receipt of the applications, the application material documents were transmitted to the ccNSO Councillors. The Councillors selected and listed the candidates in order of preference and mailed them to the ccNSO Secretariat mailing list. The selection procedure closed on 23 December 2019 (23:59 UTC).
