For your information I have attached a deck from this morning’s CCWG meeting, slide 6 of which represents the proposed timeline going forward.  I have, however, summarized this below.  You will note that this calls for SO/AC approval of the final report between Jan. 7 and Jan. 22, 2016.  While the timeline  references this January period as being for ‘SO/AC Intersessionals’, this should not necessarily be presumed to be a large F2F meeting.  It was noted in the room that ICANN has indicated that it would facilitate meetings of SO/AC’s but that these need not held at the same time, nor that they need to be F2F. 

CCWG’s Proposed Timeline

Nov. 15 – Summary Report issued to Chartering Organizations (to be written by a ‘professional writer’)

Nov. 15 to Dec. 21 – 35 day public comment period

Nov. 30 – Detailed report issued (15 days into public comment period)

Dec. 21 – end of public comment period

Dec. 24 – distribution of staff summary (this is presumably of the public summary)

Dec. 31 – Deadline for WP Analysis

Jan. 7 – Jan. 22 – period for SO/AC intersessional meetings, if necessary

Jan. 22 – delivery of final report to ICANN Board
