Dear Alejandra,

As I am in Brussels for CENTR meeting this week, unfortunately, I won’t be able to join the Council call on Thursday. Therefore, on behalf of the Board Caucus ccPDP3-RM, I would like to share with you a written monthly update on the progress. As always, please feel free to share it with the Council as you see fit. Bart will be able to provide additional details if necessary.

As I already reported before, the comments received in response to the public comment have been analysed and a summary report had been reviewed by the Caucus members who approved it for publishing. 

As you may remember, the Chair of the ICANN Board sent a request to the GAC to provide their advice. Yet, as of today, no response from the GAC has been received. However, the GAC submitted comments during the public comment period. The analysis of and response to those comments have been included in the report. 

The Caucus is still looking for a more detailed analysis from the ICANN Legal team. At its next meeting this month, the Caucus will discuss the way forward with all the feedback we received. 

On an additional note, one of the members of the Board Caucus - Avri Doria - has left the Board. At this point, the Caucus is not planning to reach out to the Board to invite more volunteers to join the Caucus.
