Dear all,

Summary SECIR Conference Call #13
The ccNSO working group “Secure Email Communication for cccTLD Incident Response” (SECIR) held its thirteenth conference call on Fri Apr 10. We discussed the following topics:

(1) TLD-OPS status. The number of ccTLDs that have subscribed to the TLD-OPS list has grown to 97 from 77 since our last conference call on Mar 20. The ccNSO Secretariat has been inviting ccTLDs in batches since ICANN52 and has now invited everyone. The WG will ramp up its outreach activities to get ccTLDs on board who have not managed to respond to their invitation yet (see point 3).

(2) TLD-OPS leaflet. We OK’ed the leaflet we created to help ccTLDs subscribe to the TLD-OPS list (see attachment). The leaflet is for distribution within the ccTLD community only, either by email or through hardcopies at relevant community meetings.

(3) Outreach activities. We discussed various outreach activities we’ll be undertaking until ICANN53 to get even more ccTLDs on the list, such as the announcement of the 100th ASCII ccTLD subscriber and a short presentation at the ccNSO Members Day in Buenos Aires to update the community.

Our next conference call will take place in the week of May 11.
