Dear Kim,
I’ve just been informed that my visa application will not be approved as the validity of my passport does not cover a period of 6 months counting from date of application for visa.
I’ve started a procedure to renew my passport this afternoon and should get a new passport next Wednesday. Probably this will be too late to file a new conference visa application (it should be approved
this time but I won’t get it in time before leaving to Hyderabad).
I might apply for a tourist visa as I have been told that this procedure is far easier and only costs a couple of days to accomplish.
Does anyone know whether the type of visa will be checked to enter the conference centre where ICANN57 takes place?
