I am looking forward to seeing many of you again in Dakar.

In our preparation call earlier today, we noted that we are in need of session Chairs for some of the agenda items of our forthcoming meeting. Please could I ask you to each consider volunteering to assist, particularly if you have not been able to be very active in the Council as yet. 

If you volunteer, you will be asked to Chair the session for that item, which includes introducing the item and any speakers, chairing questions and answers (where relevant) and ensuring that the session does not over-run. For those that might find Chairing a bit scary, I assure you that it an enjoyable experience and good personal development.

If you are able to volunteer please could you let Gabi know and I look forward to seeing your support,
