Dear Colleagues,

More update on the recent developments around SSR2-RT.

The SO/AC chairs launched a survey in order to gather feedback from SSR2-RT members.  After analysing the feedback, it was proposed to cancel the f2f meeting previously scheduled mid-January. I reached out to our appointed menmbers to the review team. Two of them agreed that at this point it would be a waste of resources to hold that meeting, so they support the cancellation. The third members has not responded yet. It seems that RT members endorsed by other communities also believe that it is the right thing to cancel the meeting.

So, currenlty the plan looks like this:

1. Cancel the f2f meeting
2. Ask RT members if they are willing to contiunue the work or want to step down (two of our members agreed to stay on the team at least until more clarity around the parth forward)
3. When it is clear who is staying on the team, SO/ACs will have to look for more people with the right skill-set.
