The Cross-Community Working Group on New gTLD Auction Proceeds is tasked with developing a proposal(s) for consideration by the Chartering Organizations (those ICANN Supporting Organizations and Advisory
Committees that have adopted the CCWG Charter, including the ccNSO) on the mechanism that should be developed in order to allocate the new gTLD Auction Proceeds. That proposal will then be submitted to the ICANN Board.
Per ccNSO council decision (Resolution 123-09), the ccNSO secretariat launched a call for volunteers to fill the slate of two (2) to five (5) ccNSO appointed members to the CCWG new gTLD Auction Proceeds.

That call for volunteers ended 14 December. During its latest council meeting on 15 December, the ccNSO Council appointed Ching Chiao, Peter Vergote and Mathieu Weill as ccNSO appointed members to the CCWG new gTLD Auction proceeds.
The most recent call for volunteers, which we would like to bring to your attention, seeks
individual participants and mailing list observers to the CCWG. In addition, there will be opportunities to provide input through public consultations and public comment processes that the CCWG is expected to organize throughout its deliberations.
