As we were not quorate on today's Council call, we decided to send out a few issues to be resolved online.

The first issue is agenda item 4 – Timeline ccNSO Council Elections (see below)

Please, could you let me know if you approve the suggested timeline by next Tuesday, 4 September 2012.

Timeline ccNSO Council Elections

Suggested Timeline:

10 September: Call for Nominations
1 October: End of Nomination period
8 October: Last day of candidates to accept nominations, publication of nominees (if no election) by election manager

If elections needed:

15 October: Last day publication of list of electorate, start of campaign period (Toronto meeting: 14 – 19 October)
29 October: End of campaign period; ballots issued to voting electorate, start of voting
12 November: Voting closes
19 November: Last day for voting results to be published

If ties:

26 November: Start of Run off elections
3 December: Close of Run off elections
5 December: Last day Announcement of results

End of term March 2013 for:

Lesley Cowley (EU Region)

Keith Davidson (AP region)

Fernando Espana (NA Region)

Paulos Nyirenda (AF Region)Rolando Toledo (LAC Region)
