Summary SECIR Conference Call #14
The ccNSO working group “Secure Email Communication for cccTLD Incident Response” (SECIR) held its fourteenth conference call on Mon May 11. We discussed the following topics:

(1) TLD-OPS status. The number of ccTLDs that have subscribed to the TLD-OPS mailing list is growing steadily and has now 131 subscribers. We do however urgently request ccTLDs to completely fill out the subscription request form and CC their IANA Admin Contact in their subscription request email. This is important because it will further ease and speed up the subscription process for ccTLDs and because it enables the ccNSO Secretariat to work even more efficiently. Please visit the TLD-OPS homepage (http://ccnso.icann.org/resources/tld-ops-secure-communication.htm) to copy and paste the template of the subscription request form into an email.

(2) Objectives for ICANN53. We discussed our objectives for the ICANN meeting in Buenos Aires, which are to (a) agree on a near-final version of the WG’s final report and (b) present our progress to the ccTLD community at the ccNSO Members Day #1.

Our next conference call will take place in the first half of June and will focus on preparing the SECIR WG meeting in Buenos Aires.
