The decision to relocate the meeting was made in consultation with the meeting hosts and local partners in Oman, with a shared focus on ensuring that the AGM can proceed on schedule and support broad global participation.

NEW: ICANN Contributes to Emergency Telecommunications Cluster Hurricane Melissa Response

ICANN announced it will contribute nearly $110,000 to the Emergency Telecommunications Cluster (ETC) to support specific ETC activities undertaken to restore emergency connectivity across Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa.

NEW: ICANN Completes 2025 Audit on System and Organization Controls for IANA Functions

For the sixteenth consecutive year, an exception-free audit has been completed for the management of the root zone DNSSEC Key Signing Key (KSK) securing the Domain Name System (DNS).

NEW: Draft Principles to Enable the Evolution of ICANN Reviews

To illustrate the essence of the proposal, the Reviews CCG is setting out draft guiding principles from its phase one discussions.

NEW: ICANN FY27 Organizational Objectives Align Efforts on Priority Issues

The objectives for FY27 focus on five key areas: strengthening ICANN engagement; promoting the multistakeholder model; facilitating broader access to the Domain Name System (DNS); supporting the policy development process; and improving operational excellence.

NEW: Two Years of Enforcing DNS Abuse Mitigation Requirements: Progress & Next Steps

We are focused on continuous monitoring and enforcement, outreach to help the community understand the requirements, and transparency through publication of regular metrics and reporting.

ICANN Opens Second Application Period for the 2026 Round RSP Evaluation Program

The second application period for the RSP Evaluation Program runs from 30 April to 12 August 2026.

ICANN 2026 Round Application System User Guide, Support Model Available

ICANN has made several resources available to help prospective applicants familiarize themselves with ICANN's TLD Application Management System (TAMS). This online system will be used by all applicants, evaluation panelists, and ICANN staff to submit, manage, and process new gTLD applications.
