This is a reminder that the ccNSO is seeking volunteers for the 3 opportunities below. Further details and instructions on how to apply can be found in the enclosed PDFs.

1. One (1) Member for the Root Zone Evolution Review Committee (RZERC)
   
   

Deadline: Friday, 5 December 2025 (23:59 UTC)

The ccNSO appointee is expected to have substantial expertise and a strong, demonstrable technical understanding of the DNS and its underlying architecture.

2. Volunteers for the ccNSO Strategic and Operational Planning Committee (SOPC)
   
   

Deadline: Friday, 5 December 2025 (23:59 UTC) – new deadline

The SOPC is seeking active contributors to support its work, including preparation of the Committee’s comment on the upcoming proposed ICANN Fiscal Year 27 Operating Plan and Budget. Workload is expected to intensify from December through mid-February.

3. Volunteers for the ccNSO Study Group on IANA Public Records
   
   

Deadline: Friday, 12 December 2025 (23:59 UTC)

This Study Group will assess the purpose and accuracy of IANA’s public records, consider whether updates or additional records are needed, explore options for addressing inaccuracies, and may recommend new ccNSO policies or practices. The group is expected to begin work in January 2026.
