This is just a reminder about the ccNSO travel funding programme which is now open for applications to the Nairobi meeting. We are taking your applications until the 6th November. See below for more details.

At the same time, I would also like to remind you about ICANN’s Fellowship Programme – which is different from the ccNSO travel funding (you can read about the difference at http://ccnso.icann.org/meetings/ccnso-travel-funding-04dec08.htm). Dear ccTLD community,

The ccNSO travel funding committee is now accepting applications to the ICANN meeting in Nairobi 7 – 12 March 2010.

Funding is made available for those who actively participate in the work of the ccNSO and make a special contribution to its projects and meetings. However, you do not need to be a ccNSO member to receive funding! The funding covers an economy class ticket to the travel destination, the hotel costs for the time of the meeting and a per diem. All travel arrangements are made through specially dedicated ICANN staff.

If you think you are eligible to receive funding for the Nairobi meeting, please send an email to ccnso-travelfunding@icann.org by the 6th November 2009, at the latest. The email must contain the name and contact details of the applicant as well as a short description of how you think you can contribute to the work of the ccNSO. You are also very welcome to suggest items that should be covered on the meetings agenda.
