Summary SECIR Conference Call #7

The ccNSO working group “Secure Email Communication for ccTLD Incident Response” (SECIR) held its seventh conference call on Mon Nov 24. We discussed the various options of getting to a working SECIR system online by the Singapore meeting. We decided to first analyze the time and effort it would take to customize the software of the OPS-Trust system for use by ccTLDs. As a fallback scenario, we will also be exploring the possibility of using the OPS-Trust system as is, but configured with a ccTLD-specific “sub group”. We’ll organize a conference call with DNS-OARC in the next two weeks to discuss both possibilities. Our next WG conference call will be in the week of Dec 8.
