Subject: [ccnso-council] Approval needed: SECIR WG Charter (by 1 August)

Dear Councillors,

Please, find attached for your review and approval the draft Charter for the new Working Group on Secure Email Communication for ccTLD Incident Response (SECIR). This Working Group will be tasked to implement a ccTLD Contact Repository, to enable ccTLD operators to communicate with each other on rudimentary incidents (following the recommendations of the Contact Repository Implementation  Working Group, see http://ccnso.icann.org/node/45534).

This effort is lead by the Interim Chair Cristian Hesselman, .nl (cc'd into this email), who already has approached a core group of of volunteers, in order to be able to start work as soon as possible. However, a full call of volunteers will take place in a few weeks time.

If you have any concerns or objections regarding the charter, please, email this list by Friday, 1 August. In case you approve, you do not need to notify the email list.
