I regret to advise that Juhani has tendered his resignation from the Council, as his other commitments have been making it increasing difficult for him to contribute to our work.

Juhani has been a European Region Council Member since 2008 and I would like to express my sincere thanks for his service and support over the four years. I hope that we will all have the opportunity to say a formal thank you in Toronto.

In the meantime, the Secretariat will advise on the process for a replacement in due course.
