Dear Councillors,

Two members of the LAC region have been nominated + seconded so far, and it therefore looks like there will be an election in this region as well (both candidate need to formally approve their nomination first).

As I would like to avoid to have two separate elections (there will be elections in the EU region as well) and because the nomination period for the LAC region was extended until the 30 October, which clash with the originally proposed + approved election  timeline, I would like to propose an updated timeline:

Thursday, 5 November 00.01 UTC – Thursday, 19 November 23.59 UTC

Nomination + election report to be submitted  at the latest by 1 December (due to holidays the previous week, but will try to be as fast as possible)

If run-off elections: 1 – 8 December

Nomination + election report to be submitted at the latest by 11 December.

I would be grateful if you could agree on this renewed timeline as soon as possible. In case I have not heard any objections by 20th October,  understand you approve this renewed timeline.
