Subject: IFR co-chairs request ccNSO and GNSO Councils' approval on a Recommendation

Dear Philippe and Katrina,

Please find attached a letter from Fred Neves and Tomslin Samme-Nlar, co-chairs of the IANA Naming Function Review (IFR).  The letter explains the ICANN Bylaw requirement for the GNSO and ccNSO Councils’ approval on a recommendation requiring an amendment to the IANA Naming Function Contract, and their request for the Councils to do so.
