Interesting letter; is there a translation available? 😉

And can this be more condescending (“IDNs enable people around the world to use domain names in local languages and scripts.”  WOW!  I didn’t know that until now—who knew that was possible? 😉.  And I guess the rest of the Community didn’t know either…  And the ccTLD Community?  We must have been really in the dark about this… Thankfully ICANN has just informed us.  Maybe it’s news to the GNSO Community.  But I doubt that…) ?

What are they asking for?  Is there really a point to this proposed correspondence, other than for ICANN Org to embarrass themselves?
